Custom Orders & Privacy

At SkiChains, we love making custom pieces—and we know that sometimes the personal details are what make them special.

We also respect your privacy. This page explains how we handle personalized products and what happens if we'd like to show one of our creations in our marketing.

1. Your Custom Information

When you place a custom order, we may receive information such as your name, custom text, artwork, or other details needed to create your product.

We use that information to make and fulfill your order. We don't use your personal information, custom text, or identifying details for marketing purposes without your permission.

2. Photos & Social Media

We love showing off the things we make. From time to time, we may photograph products and use those photos on our website, social media, or other marketing materials.

For standard, non-personalized products, we may use photos of the finished product as examples of our work.

For custom orders, we take a little more care.

  • Generic designs and text: We may showcase designs that don't identify you or contain personal information.

  • Personalized designs: If a custom design, name, message, or other detail could reasonably identify you, we'll ask for your permission before using it in marketing.

  • No identifying details: We won't intentionally publish your address, contact information, order information, or other private customer details alongside a product photo.

If you'd rather we not use your custom product in our marketing, just let us know.

3. Your Choices

If you don't want your custom order photographed or shared for marketing purposes, you can tell us at any time.

If we've already received permission to use a design and you later change your mind, contact us and we'll do our best to remove it from future marketing.

4. A Little Common Sense

We make things for real people, and sometimes the fun of a custom order is in the story behind it. We may share the finished product without identifying the customer, but we won't share the story, name, or personal details behind it unless we've been given permission to do so.

Your custom order is yours. Your privacy matters.
